Jack of All Trades

There is a large and growing number of trades people who service the needs of our growing population. As consumers become resource wealthy , but time poor , there is a growing need for tradesmen and women  , who are required to perform maintenance , renovation or repair on your home or business.

They must be qualified with the appropriate trade qualifications , have experience in a wide variety of working situations and environments , and be able to perform the work you require of them expediently , economically and to an acceptable industry standard eg in the case of electricians they need to provide a certificate of compliance to indicate that the work performed meets industry standards of health and safety  .Tradespeople should have appropriate training to be able to  work within the industry regulated , health and safety guidelines .  .

A successful trades person is  generally  well trained to provide work of a certain high standard , charges reasonable rates for work done ,  is reliable and  arrives when they say they will . They need to be  good time managers and will depart after a reasonable period of time , which is enough to get the job done ,  Good communication skills are also necessary to convey to employer if difficulties arise during the job or extra resources are needed  .

Whether working in or around  your private  home or business premises ,  they need to be unobtrusive , tidy and generally co-operative .
